Description: Buttercrunch is a loose-leaf head lettuce that resembles and open rose and is so sweet it melts in your mouth. The leaves are wider, wavy, and a lighter green color than other varieties. It has a delicate buttery flavor and velvety, succulent leaves. Buttercrunch is a sophisticated lettuce that should be paired with cream, fruity oils, honey, and fruit. I use a vibrant citrus and parmesan vinaigrette when serving this lettuce salad.
