Description: This plant produces fruit that resembles salad cucumbers in taste but look completely different. The cucumbers are oval to cylindrical in shape with thin skin that is tender yet crisp. The greenish white skin has distinct ribbing and delicate peach fuzz “hair” instead of spines. Strong vines produce a prolific harvest of these 4” white flesh cucumbers that can be used in the same way as other cucumbers. Young fruit tastes like a cucumber, allowed to mature and turn yellow the cucumber becomes sweet and tastes like melon.
